Below, is a photo of one of my best red hens. I call her Clarabelle ![]() Here are my goats Roberta (left) and Josie (right) lounging lazily in the shade of a hackberry tree. In the South Texas heat, what else is there for these hot babes to do. ![]() A couple of months back, we ordered some baby chicks. We ordered a dozen Rhode Island Red pullets and 4 White Leghorn pullets. For warmth, the supplier threw in (for free) several baby roosters (Those are the little black chicks.) ![]() At our pond on the farm, all kinds of migratory birds stop and rest a spell. These black-bellied whistling ducks were born here. They migrate, but always return to their birthplace each year to breed and hatch their babies. ![]() ![]() I have a firm belief that there is no such thing as too many critters! With that said, may I introduce you to my goose Cleo with her new baby, Lucy. ![]() We look out our dining room window at the farm and watch all kinds of cute creatures lunching at our bird feeder. This little guy has become a regular. ![]() To E-mail Cathy Click Here! |
